Robert Lenkiewicz

As previously mentioned, Robert Lenkiewicz is one of the most influential artists of all time. He was born in 1941 and passed away in 2002. He has widely been considered one of the best artists in Southern England. He has produced over 8,000 works, which includes the Vagrancy Project. This project consisted of a number of drawings and paintings of vagrants, as well as a book of notes that were created by the dossers. His goal with the project was to highlight the plight of vagrants and to shock the community into taking action.


Andy Warhol

This artist was from America and he was a visual artists. He was known for being a driving force in the pop art movement. His artwork involved a mixture of celebrity culture, advertising and artistic expression. Warhol's most notable works includes creating silkscreen paintings on cans of Campbell's Soup, as well as Marilyn Diptych.


He has also painted many celebrities and he favored using silk-screening techniques. Not only that, but in 1979 BMW commissioned Warhol to create a painting of the BMW M1. It was for the company's BMW Art Car Project's fourth installment.


Pablo Picasso

Perhaps the most famous painter of all time was Pablo Picasso, who was known as the most influential artist of the 20th century. He co-invented collage and invented the constructed sculpture. He was not only a painter, as he was also a sculptor, ceramicist, stage designer, print-maker, playwright and a poet. Some of the most famous artwork he created includes the Guernica and the proto-Cubist Les Demoiselles d'Avignon. Today, his paintings are known around the world and many people collect replicas of them.


Vincent van Gogh

Finally, we have Vincent van Gogh, who was one of the most influential painters in his time. Today, his works is still recognized around the world. One of his most famous paintings is The Starry Night. He was known for painting with thick brushstrokes and he was a fan of using bright colors squeezed right from the tube. The technique he used is still popular today, and this is mainly in part to Van Gogh popularizing it. Some of his other well known paintings were portraits of Eugène Boch and Portrait of the Postman Joseph Roulin, which he created back in 1888.
